Eagle Talk is a quality calling service that provides low cost calls
to over 150 countries around the globe. Powered by the world’s leading international
call carrier, Verizon, Eagle Talk offers superior call quality at great value, with
International calls as low as 1p per minute.
White Eagle has an agreement with Verizon Communications Inc, the
world’s largest supplier of call time, which enables very competitive pricing to
consumers and assures high quality connections. Calls are made through an access
number using Redwood Technology’s switch and billing engine, this facilitates buying
in low cost minutes in bulk from other providers enabling increased margins.
Redwood Technology is part owned by Cable and Wireless and provides
services to such companies as Deutsche Telecom. Eagle Talk has developed a four
language SMS platform with twelve user friendly functions. To assist the migrant
customer base, registered customers will see the response messages in their own
language. Languages currently covered are English, Polish, Bulgarian and Turkish.
New languages can be rapidly ‘plugged in’ to the database in a short period of time.
SMS messages are processed in seconds integrating with the White
Eagle customer database and the Metavante web services via the White Eagle web services.
The SMS process is started every 60 seconds and the maximum process time is 65 seconds.
